Kingsfield Development was founded by David and Melody Peery who met as students at California Baptist University and have been married for 26 years.
David was the President and co-founder of Steven Walker Communities and various sister entities for 24 years. During his tenure at Steven Walker, David led the company in the development of commercial, industrial, office, multi-family developments, single family developments and land entitlement opportunities.
David is a graduate at California Baptist University with a Business Administration and Finance Degree. He continues to be involved in CBU and has overseen the construction of numerous projects on campus including Briscos Café and the new 40,000 square-foot student recreation facility. David also serves on the board of the Lancer Educational Housing Foundation.
David and Melody are both highly involved in their community and their local church, Sandals Church. They both serve on the Go Team which oversees the planning and implementation of global outreach at Sandals Church.
Additionally, David has served for seven seasons as the head coach of the Woodcrest Christian High School Mountain Bike Racing Team.
David has overseen the development and construction of over 30 housing communities and entitled and sold over 1,000 lots in other projects throughout the Inland Empire. Developments have ranged from entry level starter homes in Moreno Valley to high-end second home communities in San Diego and the La Quinta area, including the Crosby Estate in Rancho Santa Fe and multiple projects in PGA West in La Quinta.
In addition to his residential portfolio of projects, David has developed and overseen the development and construction numerous commercial projects including restaurant, church, apartment, general office and specialty projects.
